At All Arts Academy, we are committed to sharing our wealth of knowledge and love of music with students of all ages and levels. The wide variety of experience amongst our faculty allows us to offer quality instruction in virtually all styles of music, including classical, operatic, musical theater, jazz, pop, rock and world music.
We tailor lessons to meet the individual needs of each student, regardless of skill or experience level, and nurture the talents of children, teens, and adults.

Weekly lessons are supplemented by a variety of optional performance opportunities that include workshops, recitals, competitions, chamber music ensembles and family music activities.
These events are available to all of our private students.
All Arts Academy faculty have degrees in music, as well as significant performing and teaching experience. They are skilled in working with a variety of ages and ability levels.
Upon enrollment, we try to match each student with the instructor that best fits his or her needs and interests.
FACULTY:
Mihaela Matei - Violin, Viola, Piano
With more than 27 years of experience performing, Mihaela is now an accomplished musician and instructor. She currently serves as musical director of All Arts Academy. She earned her degrees from National University of Bucharest-Romania, Rowan University-NJ and has performed all over the world since 1989. She has performed as a violist with the Giurgiu Philarmonic Orchestra as well as the Marea Neagre Philarmonic while touring Europe. She also has experience with the local Harrisburg Symphony, Philadelphia Virtuosi, Riverside Symphony, and the Pennsylvania Symphony.
Mugurel Radu - Violin, Viola, Music Theory
Mr. Radu is considered one of the most exciting musicians of his generation. He is the founder of the Philadelphia String Quartet and he brings with him a wealth of experience, having performed with nearly 100 different orchestras in 25 countries. He is also a permanent violist with the Harrisburg Symphony. He has received critical acclaim on both sides of the Atlantic and received numerous awards for his music. His desire for performing has turned him into an accomplished violinist, violist, pianist, and conductor while he has performed with numerous orchestras including the Philadelphia Virtuosi and the Strauss Symphony of America. Mugurel Radu holds degrees from National University of Bucharest-Romania, Louisiana State University-LA and Rowan University-NJ.
Anamaria Achitei - Cello
Anamaria began playing cello at the age of ten having played violin since the age of six. By the time she was thirteen, she began touring throughout Europe and won two national prizes at the Romanian National Cello competitions. Her studies in cello brought her even further and to the United States where she was granted scholarships to attend Lynn University, Carnegie Mellon University, Rowan University, and Rutgers University. With her progressed followed by numerous renowned musicians, she has performed in numerous orchestras including the Harrisburg Symphony, the Delaware Symphony, the Delaware Valley Symphony, the Lancaster Symphony, and the Garden State Philharmonic on top of her experience outside of the region as well as overseas.
